Featured feature: Add a limit to your wearable(s)

When you purchase a wearable from us, you can choose from two options: Curve/VIMpay or MuchBetter. In this blog, we explain the latest MuchBetter feature: from now on, you can add a limit to individual wearables! Ideal if you want to give your children a safe and functional payment method. No more cash that can get lost, and your children can walk around with a payment method without anyone being able to see that it is one. Double the safety.

Adding a limit to your wearables in the app
As you have already read above, the latest feature in the MuchBetter app allows you to easily add a limit to each individual wearable in the app. This feature is ideal, for example, as a replacement for pocket money. You link one of our items to the app, give the wearable your child’s name, and add a limit to it. This way, your children can go out carefree and pay with a wearable. You cannot tell from our wearables that they can be used for payments, so they are not attractive to steal. If the wearable gets lost, you can easily block it through the app. You no longer need to send your children out with cash. In addition, you receive real-time notifications when payments are made with the wearable. This way, you can keep track of your children’s spending.

Of course, this feature can also be used for yourself for other purposes; for example, if you would like to save yourself from bankruptcy during an evening at the casino or if your nights out regularly get financially out of hand. 😉 You can also easily add limits to each wearable for yourself (or your partner).

Using a wearable with MuchBetter
Because we at AdornPay want everyone in the Netherlands to be able to pay with our wearables, you can choose a prepaid option with us: MuchBetter. This is similar to a prepaid credit card or a prepaid SIM card for a phone. You can top up the card by depositing an amount onto it (through the MuchBetter app). You can then pay with your wearable until the deposited amount has been used up, after which you can top up the wearable again.
